The Green Bay Packers suffered a disappointing 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, marking their third consecutive defeat. The Packers' struggles continued as they fell behind early in the game and were unable to overcome a late interception that sealed their fate.
The Packers' offense sputtered in the first half, managing only a field goal while the Broncos built a 13-3 lead. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was under constant pressure from the Broncos' defense, and the Packers' running game was ineffective.
Despite their struggles, the Packers managed to claw their way back into the game in the second half. Rodgers connected with wide receiver Allen Lazard for a touchdown in the third quarter, and running back Aaron Jones added another touchdown in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 17-17.
However, the Packers' comeback attempt was thwarted by a late interception. With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Rodgers threw a pass that was picked off by Broncos cornerback P.J. Locke. The Broncos then ran out the clock to secure the victory.
The loss drops the Packers to 2-4 on the season, while the Broncos improve to 2-5. The Packers will look to get back on track next week when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Broncos will travel to face the Los Angeles Rams.
